1. Introduction
At avaewear, we stand behind our products. This Return Policy explains your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and faulty items.
This policy complies with EU consumer protection laws, including the statutory right of withdrawal.
2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have an additional 14 days to return the item.
Our 30-day return policy is a commercial extension of this legal right.
3. Return Period
Standard returns: 30 days from delivery.
Returns initiated after this period may be refused unless required by law.
4. Return Eligibility
4.1 Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must:
- Be unworn and unused, beyond normal fitting or trying on
- Not show signs of use, including odors, stains, stretching, or damage
- Be unwashed and unaltered
- Be returned in their original packaging, including zip bags, where provided
- Packaging (including zip bags) must be clean, intact, and undamaged, and suitable for resale
If the original packaging or zip bag is missing or damaged, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable reduction in the refund amount, as permitted under EU consumer law.
4.2 Hygiene Restrictions
For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned, unless faulty:
- Underwear
- Socks (once removed from packaging)
- Water bottles or consumables
5. Return Process
5.1 Self-Service Return (Recommended)
- Log in to your account
- Find the order you want to return
- Select the items and choose a return reason
- Submit your return request
- Once approved, you will receive a return label via email
- Drop off your package at any PostNL location
5.2 Return via Email

- Order number
- Items to return
- Reason for return (optional for EU withdrawal)
5.3 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
For all regions:
- Return shipping costs will be displayed in our return portal before confirmation
- The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, or paid directly by you depending on the selected return method
- Available return options may include home pickup or drop-off at a local carrier location
In cases of defective, damaged, or incorrect items, avaewear will cover all return shipping costs.
6. Refunds
6.1 Refund Amount
- Product price refunded in full if return is approved
- Standard outbound shipping costs are refunded for EU withdrawals
- Express or upgraded shipping costs are non-refundable
6.2 Refund Timing
- Inspection: up to 5 business days
- Refund processing: 5 business days
- Bank processing: 5-10 business days
7. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item is defective or damaged:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photos and order number
You may choose a replacement or full refund at no cost.
8. Lost or Stolen Packages
- Until delivery is confirmed to your address, the shipment remains our responsibility
- If tracking confirms delivery but the package was stolen afterward, liability transfers to the customer
- We may require confirmation from the carrier
9. Non-Returnable Items
- Underwear & socks (once removed from packaging)
- Final sale / clearance items
- Items showing signs of use
10. Returns We May Refuse
We may refuse a return if:
- It falls outside the return period
- The item shows use beyond fitting
- Hygiene rules are violated
In such cases, the item may be returned to you at your cost.
11. Exchanges
Need a different size or color? Email us at returns@avaewear.com with your order number and we will arrange an exchange for you, subject to availability.
