Always wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle. This protects the outer fabric surface and the shape-enhancing paneling from friction damage.
Never use fabric softener. It coats the fibres and blocks the moisture-wicking properties that keep you cool and dry during training.
Air dry only. Hang or lay flat to dry. Heat from a tumble dryer breaks down spandex fibres, causing your leggings to lose their stretch, compression, and shape recovery.
Avoid velcro and rough surfaces. Snagging is the enemy of performance fabric. Be mindful of gym equipment with rough edges, and wash your leggings separately from items with zips or hooks.
